Raining like a monsoon out there. Really. If you have ever imagined what the rain is like in, say, southeast Asia, I'm guessing we've got something close out there right now.
Architeuthis and I have finally come to terms. Had a couple of productive talks with my brother. We figured out I needed to re-name all the files Artist/Album/Track/Title. That way, albums stay together in the correct order. This also fixed the problem with the CD copies. Remember Husband's Rolling Stones CD? Well, all 191 songs were in alphabetical order. Ooops. LOL! Anyway, now that the files are re-coded, I will probably burn Husband a new CD. Pretty good learning curve, though. Everything working smoothly by the third disc. And Fraternal Unit, if you're reading this, yes, I was able to change the file encoding in batches! Yay!
Husband watching Goodfellas, so I'm half watching it. Don't think I really will watch it. The Sopranos aside, I don't really like gangster movies. Not even The Godfather, really...
Not much other news to report.

Yet again...
Aug. 17th, 2004 09:11 pmIn revisiting the size of Architeuthis' hard drive.
Fraternal Unit said 9999 songs.
Somehow I got confused, and in my initial reviews of its performance, revised that estimate down by a factor of 10ish, to 900 or so songs.
Um. Actually, now belive it will hold about 6300 songs. Am back to being completely blown away.
(And let's not discuss math skills, people, OK. The last time I took math was high school calculus. I went to Carolina, what can I say? BUT, I'm the best damn accountant the Boss has had in the office since, well, ever, so my rusty math skills get me where I need to go.)
