I wonder if the Internet is going to be all we need sometimes. Well, social networking plus the power of the dollar. Chic-fil-a folded. Dick's apparently has decided that soccer moms don't want to buy cleats from the same stores that sell military-grade weapons specifically designed to kill as many humans as possible. Walmart, too, may be thinking through their sales policies. Cerberus is selling The Freedom Group. *shrugs* We'll see how long it takes them all to rethink it, but hey, I like the spontaneous actions. Freedom of speech doesn't mean I get to say anything I want without taking any responsibility whatsoever. Maybe politicians can see that right to bear arms doesn't necessarily mean that all Americans think all guns are created equal.

What did Chick Fil A do?

Oh! Nothing related to the recent events! I was talking about their corporate decision this fall to quit supporting hate groups, at least in part due to the actions of politicians in Chicago and Boston, as well as the social media backlash against the owner's comments about God and gays to a Baptist newspaper this spring.
