RL story from a colleague talking about her now ex-husband and father of her first child. One thing about working in domestic law. You feel really bad that some women, who seem really smart and strong, can get mixed up with some of these men, who basically seem like gene pool rejects. This story led to someone else talking about her daughter's first husband, who thought he could call the police and get them to STOP his wife from taking things like HER CLOTHES out of the marital residence. I mean seriously. What kind of combination of ego and IQ does it take to think that the police were going to side with HIM? He ended up sitting on the marital couch with two cops in his face while his wife and MIL took "whatever you need, ma'am" out of the residence. As one would totaly expect. Idiot. And she married the guy.
