muck_a_luckI learned today about a horrifying local murder that happened in the last couple of days.
I avoid stories like this. They make me feel physically ill, and they are very bad for my mood. It is one reason to avoid local news, and AOL "news." These things aren't news - they are the personal tragedies of families, and it is sick for the public to intrude. Medical personnel, law enforcement, but not me.
Anyway, weirdly, Boss's daughter is apparently personally acquainted with the family. I realized when I saw the name that she had expressed her condolences a couple of days ago on FaceBook.
NoVA is sometimes weirdly like a small town.
