My new insanity

exercise_every_day, a number of people mentioned these programs. I am trying to exercise every day again, but there are days when realistically I don't have time for anything big, but I'd still like to do something meaningful. These guided programs seemed like they could contribute to that process. So...
Week 1, Day 1 of the hundred pushups program. (My initial test was 9.) I'm back onto this process because my tennis elbow hasn't twinged me in I can't remember how long, so it must be healed. Also, I'm doing Chaturanga-style pushups this time, as that elbow posture is better for weight-bearing. The first suggestion that I'm hurting my joint, and this one goes away again.
Week 3, Day 1 of the two hundred situps program. I get the joy of starting in Week 3 because I got 40 on my initial test.
I alternated sets of pushups and situps, and threw in some counterposes: Dhanurasana and Urdhva Dhanurasana, which feel *really* good after all that crunching and pushing. Also a few side leans and "swimming."
Arms felt shaky afterwards, and I think my abs will be hating me tomorrow. Probably means I did it right.
