muck_a_luckI'm not really surprised, but I was still angered.
The main accountant, a much older, first generation Irish American, was ranting about the appointment of an openly gay person to the Supreme Court. Obama was really "pushing it." And by the way, would she be recusing herself on any case involving gay issues?
This conversation was going on in another room between two other people. It was all I could do not to go in there and say, everybody's got a position related to their sexuality. Everybody's got it. She can recuse herself on gay issues as soon as all the straight judges do. WTF?

I find this talk impacts me as viscerally as any comment he could have made about niggers. Or the sufficiency of the soft female brain to serve on the Court. Seriously, join the 21st Century. People are people, not the sex acts they perform with other consenting adults.
I remind myself that the under-30s just don't get this old man's mentality.
