My boring day so far
Jan. 8th, 2010 08:49 amWe had about one inch of snow overnight. It looked pretty bad judging by our drive, but the Crown Vic managed it fine, and once out to the road, it was clean and perfect. AG33 had a two hour delay, probably because at the time they needed to start collecting the high school kids (I think the busses start rolling around 5:30), the roads weren't ready yet, so they had to push it back. I took work home for the two hour delay, but Husband had a miserable night with insomnia and didn't feel like commuting anyway, so he took the day off. Husband launched AG33, so I got to leave early instead of late.
Also, I did some yoga this morning. Arm was OK for most of it, though I think I won't be doing anything any more vigorous than this morning til sometime next week. I tried out Earth on the Daily Energy disk. It was a very simple standing postures flow that basically built through the lunges from deep lunge with the knee down, through extended side angle. Very easy, but still energizing. It would go great as the warmup to Heart-Air, which I saw was one of the pre-set practices she has set up with it.
Whimped out to baby the arm and did not do Heart-Air this morning, though I was tempted. Went with Shanti instead. Not a horrible practice.
