Random CK is Random

So. My Husband has a similar last name to a very famous football player of yore.

When my father heard I was dating Husband, the first thing he asked was, "Is he related to Famous Football Guy?"

And I have been getting this question ever since.

Including, last week, from the sheriff who came to serve Boss some papers.

So, same sheriff is serving me AGAIN this morning. The CPA saw me later in the kitchen. He says, "What are you doing here? I thought you were being arrested!"

I said, "No, no! The sheriff doesn't arrest me because he thinks I'm related to Famous Football Guy."

We laughed, and I related that I was to the point of maybe starting to lie about it and make up stories about Famous Football Guy. Of course, being me, the first story that pops into my head was - the time he brought home his boyfried for the holidays and how great his boyfriend was.

Then, CPA reveals that he has the same problem every time he meets a Marine. CPA's name is Dan Daly.

I said, "Yeah, you probably shouldn't make up lies about him."

CPA laughed, and said, "I wouldn't do that to a Marine! They'd kill me!"

And I was thinking of MY lie idea, and thinking, yup. Probably.

Yes! Tell the lie and see how far peoples' eyes bug out of their heads. lol
