Dinner with The Barbarian

muck_a_luckThe Barbarian and I delivered AG33 and Husband to an 8pm event last night. We would need to pick them up at 10pm. But as we dropped them off v. early, we had 7:15 to 9:15 or so all to ourselves.
I indulged myself and we went out to dinner! Mmmm. On The Border. Your chicken enchiladas are so yummy and your chicken empanadas are a delicious breakfast!
We had a great time. The Barbarian waited patiently for the 10 or 15 minutes it took to get a table. They put us in a two person booth waaaaay back in a corner, which made me very happy. Out of the way, quieter. The Barbarian was quite the little lady for the whole event, though she glowered at me a couple of times saying "Where our plates?!" "Where our food?!" But not loud enough for anyone else to hear. I explained that they were making our food in the kitchen and she was mollified. She tried the kids' quesadilla plate and was unimpressed. She refused anything from my plate. But she ate tortilla chips and french fries happily as I enjoyed my meal, and very enthusiastically offered to share her ice cream dessert with me. A good time was had by all!
