My life, let me show you it
Aug. 2nd, 2009 09:58 amProductive day so far. Got up with the cats meows a little before 5am. Computer, juice, light snack, trance dance, yoga. The Barbarian woke up about 6:05am. She petted/tormented the willing cat on the day bed while I finished yoga.
Started the laundry. Fed The Barbarian and myself. Read a little. Cleaned the kitchen. Fed AG33 when he appeared (I think he also woke up quite early and had been reading all that time. Now they are playing and I'm preparing the strawberries. Gonna sugar the old ones for eating today, and cut the fresher ones for the coming week.
Still could use a shower, but thinking about early swimming today. It's a little gloomy, but the water was fantastic yesterday afternoon - warm enough that it was easy to get in the pool, but still cool enough to be very refreshing. Also, The Barbarian didn't get shivery cold after only half an hour in the water. So if the air temperature is good, we might duck out for a morning swim.
Hoping The Barbarian will have a good nap today, especially if we get out for a morning swim, as she got up so early.
Gonna make a pork loin with a thyme and rosemary rub for AG33, his new favorite since he's been back from my parents.
We might watch Fellowship of the Ring today with the RiffTrax. Yesterday's RiffTrax viewing of Sorcerer's Stone was a hoot, and The Barbarian was mesmerized. Nothing in it was too scary for her, though she did miss the Dark Forest because she and I wandered off to have a snack. They are upstairs now playing "Mr. Potter" and dueling with AG33's homemade wands.

Their songs are hilarious! You should grab The Love Theme From Jaws and Sparkly Vampires for your mp3 player.
