So, am I the only person who hears "bing" and thinks "The Bing?"

It just gives a whole weird sleaze factor to the whole search engine concept.

The Sopranos was violent and sleazy, no doubt about it. Just for your random information, Tony owned a strip club called The Ba da Bing, which was always just referred to as The Bing.

Yeah, I squint really hard at anything Microsoft makes these days. The bing ads are kind of cute, but I doubt I'll ever use the engine, out of principle.

Funny Sopranos story, though: In middle school, I was in a sketch comedy troupe that did sketches spoofing popular culture. We did a Sopranos spoof, and I got cast as Tony's shrink. Which is funny, a) because Mum is a shrink and b) because the director didn't realize Mum was a shrink until after. Never seen the show, though.

Well, if you can stomach the violence and naked fake boobs, The Sopranos is pretty fantastic in seasons one and two, though as with most shows it tended to go downhill toward the end. The first couple of seasons revolve more around his sessions with his psychiatrist, which might appeal to you, with your mom and whatnot. And he's dealing with his aging mother and uncle, his problematic nephew, his employees, his kids, his wife... He's like beseiged middle-management, but with guns and whores.

Well, I liked Analyze This, which has the gangster-seeing-shrink bit. But I caught like half an episode, and it was too gross for me.
