Still working on the target weight range

A week ago I went back to my diet from Lent. I'm not worrying about soda this time. I'm no longer bringing soda to the office and am drinking water all day, so not so worried about the soda anymore. But I'm back to 1500 calories a day with very limited sugar - no desserts, no sugary breakfasts.
I'm going for another month. I only gained back about 5 of the lost Lent pounds during the Easter/surgery hiatus/lost willpower. I'd still like to push down to 140 for health reasons, though if I can't get into the cute clothing items (acquired by donation from someone, not purchased in anticipation, but still, I like them and want to be able to wear them), I may continue down as low as 132, which is the bottom of the "healthy" range for a person of my height.
Again, I have noted how incredibly better I feel when I take big sugar blasts out of my diet and generally reduce calories. While I did train back in the water craving, Lent was definitely not long enough to dump the sugar/carb/sweet/chocoloate/whatever cravings, that's for sure. It is so unfair that I still *crave* all those things, even though my body feels better without them! Stupid nature or evolution or whatever it is, trying to make me do things that are bad for me.
