Did Rodney Yee: Yoga Burn this morning.
Apparently there is a creature called slow burn yoga. It is continuous slow flow.
This is not really me, but it made an interesting change. This particular sequence started with some fairly unpleasant seated moves, but mostly it was pretty good. And I can see how the going slow would created many benefits. It's just not me. :)
I do really enjoy the pose upward plank. Also, he had us adjust the shoulder blades under the back in Sivasana, and that made a HUGE difference to my ability to get relaxed. So that was a new good thing to learn.
Also, I was humbly reminded that it really *is* important to take instruction. I usually skip introductions, but after I finished, I went back and watched the intro and I probably would have benefitted from it. Ah, well. *rolls eyes at self*
I have this disc out from the library and I will probably do it a couple of times this week, but I probably won't get it for myself.
