As I am sure you are all well aware, I have been eating no more than 1500 calories a day since Ash Wednesday - most days much less.

Today I have had:

Mt. Dew
Tagalongs
Thin mints
A Cadbury Creme Egg
Sweet Potato Casserole
Green Bean Casserole
Mashed potatoes
Ham

Chocolate covered white fudge egg still to come

*ponders*

Yup. That about covers it.

My stomach hates me, but I think I have soothed all my cravings.

Gonna be kind of free this week, then another month of strict dieting. I do really want to get down to my healthy weight range, and (before today) I still had about 9 pounds to go. I wouldn't be surprised if today I was 3500 calories over maintenance, though. Probably 10 pounds now! :D

*burps discretely*

Oh. And I gave myself a really interesting burn on my palm. I'm glad it went down, or I might have looked like I made some kind of really tasteless Easter gesture. The Barbarian was quite disturbed when I did it. There was a whole string of very distressed sounding "why"s...

The Easter Bunny delivered The Barbarian's basket direct to her room. All her bunnies and last year's Easter Frog were gathered around the basket. When she saw it, she got a really worried look and at first would not approach the basket. I'm sure her little brain was going, "WTH?! The Easter Bunny was IN MY ROOM?!?!" :D

ETA: Oh! I forgot! Chocolate chip cookies and a whole bunch of (skim) milk!

Skim milk is water with (blue-)white coloring. Go for the real stuff. ;D

I've always been weird about milk. :) When I was a kid, my brother and I hated whole milk so much my parents resorted to reconsituted-from-powder milk to get us to drink it again.

And when I'm drinking milk, I actually drink it pretty much like water. I'm too old to drink that much chloresterol.

Sure, 3500 calories is effectively a pound, and about a liter of volume, but you're routinely running at a 1300 to 1500 calories/day, and that *has* to be a significant deficit -- 300 - 500 calories, I'm guessing. Worst case, it adds 10 days to your diet, but gives you a reason to live.

I'd be kind of freaked if I knew strange rabbits were in my room while I was asleep, too.
