Husband is considering purchasing Ashes to Ashes.

Opinions? Reviews? Good enough to be worth the effort?

Utter crap in my opinion. Not a patch on Life on Mars. You will be seriously disappointed

I haven't seen it, but the series got mixed reviews, if only because it had to follow up Life on Mars, which everyone and their mother slathered over.

Maybe if you haven't checked out Life on Mars, do that first, and then if you like it, try Ashes?
