In other news, our landlord is having our windows replaced. All of them. To take advantage of the water view, we have A LOT of windows. Actually, most of them are large sliding doors.

It was supposed to be a three day job, but it has grown to be a seven day one.

Husband took off three days this week. I'm home today and Monday. I may try to work from on Tuesday and Thursday next week.

Anyway, the window guys said, no way were they going to do the master bedroom windows til the carpenter bees were out of there.

That explains why there are so many bees around this place and why they seem so territorial.

This morning, I cleaned strawberries, made minestrone, and made banana bread. I am doing laundry and cleaning in the kitchen, and doing a few other things. Will do more of the same on Monday - I have chili to make, and maybe some bacon and lentil soup to experiment with.
