You know what I hate?

I hate it when I talk about whether on not we can afford to buy a house, and the person I'm talking to launches into how great it is to buy a house and how you don't throw your money down the rent hole anymore and you get the mortgage deduction and you have the security of not having to deal with landlords and how it is SUCH a buyer's market there will never be abetter time to buy and blah blab blah.

Do I LOOK like an idiot to you? Do you think I do not know these things? I swear, the next person who tells me how we REALLY SHOULD BUY is gonna get punched in the f@*#(&^$ nose.

on a side note, I believe the house next door to me is about to foreclose. Or our neighbors will be found months from now having been eaten by their yappy cocker spaniel. No one has seen them for ages, mail is overflowing from the mailbox, there's a package on the doorstep and when I last saw them, it was quickly at dusk, loading a few items stealthily into a moving van.
