On New Year's Eve, AG33 and I both took our last dose of Sudafed. We are both hacking and coughing and sneezing, etc. So I zoomed out to The Cursed Safeway for a few grocery items and some cold meds before the pharmacies closed for the holiday.

Well, it being The Cursed Safeway, they had all my grocery items, but when I got to the pharmacy, all they had was a 24-pack of Sudafed tablets, with no children's elixer.

So we trooped over to the CVS. Where they of course had everything. So I got myself a 96-pack of tablets, just to put off jumping through the Sudafed hoops for as long as possible, and also got a bottle of medicine for AG33.

When we got home, I noted that at the bottom of the CVS receipt there was a notice, saying that according to Federal law, the maximum amount of Sudafed that can legally be purchased by one person on one day is x.y grams. I don't have the numbers in front of me. But the point is that it said how much I had purchased as the CVS, and it was about .6 grams less than the maximum.

Well, at Safeway, I purchased 24 30 mg tablets. I'm bad at this stuff, but I'm pretty sure that puts me over the limit.

I hope the Federalies aren't organized enough to find me... *is scared*

important question. is it the real sudafed or that new and not-usable-for-recreational-drugs crap that they are passing off as sudafed these days? active ingredient will tell you the answer.

other important question: if you make enuf money with your new drug cartel, will you pay John Barrowman the required funds?

No, no! It's the real stuff that you have to show ID to get, not that PE stuff, that I have not tried so I don't know if it works or not. I got some accidentally when I was pregnant, and couldn't be bothered to try to get an answer from my doc about whether it was OK to take. I'm sure it's still good. I suppose I really should see if it will work for me.

Yes. With my 4 grams of sudafed, I'll make so much cash. I'm sure Mr. Barroman will be nekkid in no time! With that other guy. And they'll even get it on! No incidental nudity for us! :D

I figured. A while back, I had a little rapid heartbeat while maxing out both Sudafed and caffiene. I asked the pharmacist if there was anything else I could try, and she told me that basically, for what it does, sudafed is the only thing out there. There's not really even any prescription alternatives. Either you take sudafed, or you suffer.
