But how do get rid of the stupid background the the site pic includes?

I used a really bland background for the one I used to make the icon. For the one in the post, I did a PrintScreen on the screen where it said "Save Me Now" or whatever. That's the screen before you add the background. Then you have to paste the printed screen into the photoeditor you are using.
