Spoilers

Harry Potter has started off well. But AG33 has no idea how to not give spoilers. Yesterday afternoon, he wanted to talk about the Epilogue. I said, "DON'T TELL ME!" He said, "I'm not going to spoil. The Epilogue is just about blah and blah's blah." Which was possibly the biggest spoiler anyone could tell. Then this morning, I was saying, I was noticing this. And he said, "I'll just give you a hint!" And I said, "NO! DON'T TELL ME ANYTHING!" And he said, "I'm not going to give you any spoilers, but blah is not blah." And I actually yelled "SHUT UP!" before I took a deep breath and pointed out to him that he had just given me a MASSIVE spoiler, and no more talking about the book at all anymore because there was clearly no way we were going to be able to discuss it without me getting annoyed.

oh dear *hugs* Luckily I was with people who didn't care and so couldn't spoil me. Also luckily, I had the time to read it the first day and the antisocial tendency to refuse a day out exploring to reread!

Well, actually, I had resolved not to care about spoilers. I knew I was gettign the book comparatively late, and I knew that both Husband and AG33 were going to be *terrible* about it, though Husband has actually been much better than expected. But I don't want to know *everything*!!! *shakes fist at AG33 (lovingly)*

LOL. My sister was so afraid of spoilers that she went with Mum to a midnight opening and then left Mum to buy the book in case some horrible person turned to the back and spoiled her. I wasn't quite as bad as that, but sort of getting there! Glad you're enjoying the book so far anyway.

I almost popped a spoiler unto OfficeBuddyBeth, and I actually *put my hands over my mouth* so I wouldn't spill. Then we decided not to discuss it until she's finished it.

I know the poor kid just wants to share it with you, but still. DUDE. Hush.

Yeah, when I was his age, I wanted to peek at Christmas presents too. Now? I want the surprise, dammit!

He needs to hole up with Husband and they can discuss to heart's content.
