Massive headache
Mar. 11th, 2007 08:37 amYesterday, I watched some Numbers with Husband while Little Sister was napping.
I was hit very suddenly with a massive headache. First I was OK, 10 minutes later I thought, I could use some Tylenol, and 15 minutes after that I was hurting so bad I thought I was going to throw up.
I had sinus pain with it, too, so I popped a sudafed, which I sincerely thought was probably a waste of time because I would be throwing it up any minute.
I lay down, which helped for a few minutes, but then spent the next while in the bathroom crying on the floor.
After about an hour, it was gone. I never threw up or anything. The horrible pain reduced to a dull throb, and I was able to make dinner for everyone and get the rug rats off to bed. I actually felt pretty normal for the rest of the evening, but before I went to bed, it felt suspiciously like it might come back, so I dosed myself up with tylenol and sudafed again before I headed for bed early.
All seems to be well today.
I have no idea what it was. I didn't eat particularly well yesterday - mostly sugar, basically - so I am tempted to think it probably had something to do with that. I had a very good supper last night, and plan to eat senisbly today.
But if that was what happens to people with migraines. Jeez.
