Happy pill

muck_a_luckSomebody gave my baby a happy pill.
Tonight, when she normally goes to bed, she was up there, in the dark, sitting in the crib, chattering away to herself cheerfully. There were a couple of odd noises, so I went up to check on her and found her like that. So I brought her downstairs. I had put her to bed a bit early. I thought, maybe I should wait. She came downstairs and I can't remember seeing her so happy! She bounced on my knee, then played happily in jail, then rode around on my hip while I cooked the fish. What a nut!
I just put her to bed again, as AG33 was going to bed *far* after his bedtime (I let him stay up to watch two episodes of Enterprise).
And she's doing it again! *eyes the baby monitor*
You know how nervous we parental types get when it's too quiet...

2. WHILE I was typing this reply, the crib alarm went off. She is sleeping peacefully smack dab in the middle of the blind spot. You *know* she did that on purpose...
