TV Show Landmarks
Oct. 23rd, 2006 11:14 pmSo, I would say my TV show landmarks are as follows:
Jr. High = The A-Team
High School = MacGyver
College = 21 Jump Street
Grad School = Brisco County Jr./The X-Files
Post Grad School = Hmmmm. MST3K? Saturday Sillies on PBS? Really can't think of anything definitive between X-Files and Stargate
Of Late = Stargate
That's two huge chunks of RDA.
Heh. That sentence sounds funny!

Date: 2006-10-24 06:59 pm (UTC)I've spent five minutes making keyboard asscheeks! none of that time was spent trying to find a shape to put between the cheeks, either, not much anyway *g*
You'll have to figure out the pinching part. :D

Date: 2006-10-24 03:39 am (UTC)I was big on all the Treks, starting with the original series. And The Prisoner, the original BSG, Space: 1999, Starlost, UFO... all when I was a peanut. So between The X-Files and Stargate I had Babylon 5. And Xena. :-P
Yeah, and I watched 21 Jump Street, too! Never did watch MacGyver until now. And now, the '80s fashions, it burns us precious!

:D
I realized I left off Northern Exposure.
Trek is OK. But it's not really my thing. Except I *really* liked Enterprise, which I think makes me a weirdo.
Looking back, I believe MacGyver was just a step above The A-Team in show quality. It's actually one of the reasons I *didn't* watch Stargate for so long. Although I had a massive crush on Mac and watched the show like Patty and Selma, I also was fully aware that the scripts were lame and the acting was marginal. Even then. So I can see why a discerning adult viewer might have given MacGyver a pass...

Date: 2006-10-24 03:47 pm (UTC)Oh yes, Northern Exposure was good!
I watched plenty of cheese, too -- The Mod Squad, Starsky and Hutch, The Dukes of Hazzard, Miami Vice (speaking of painful '80s fahions...).
If I had ever seen a MacGyver, I could easily have crushed on RDA, too. I just never caught a glimpse of it. And now, RDA with the short hair is ROWR!!!
