I called potential traffic client to let her know that Boss is available for her original court date after all and her case therefore did not need to be continued, but that we could still continue it if the original date was a problem for her.

She gave me this sort of confused response, and eventually we established that she thought Boss could go to Court for her, since he was her lawyer.

Dude. Glad we talked.

People are weird. How could you not realize you had to appear in Court? Or just assume you didn't have to appear?
