God, no!

I'm simply letting my foodie side live vicariously through you when it comes to American stuff, cause it looks like I won't be able to do it myself for a while! It's gonna be Crete in May, not LA.

It's like when we went to France (Normandy), as soon as I knew we were going, I had the cookery books out drooling over the thought of freshly baked Brioche, and calvados, and all those cheeses ......

See, I'm off again!

And the mention of corn muffins is enough to set me off! Can't wait until I can indulge my foodie side over there!

Hmmm. The problem is that I don't think like a vegetarian. Don't know what distinctively American foods to suggest.

Mac and cheese. Fried okra. Possibly a good vegetarian gumbo. Do you eat fish? I remember you made a face when I mentioned shrimp for dinner.

And would send you a box of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix, except that it contains, ewww, lard!

Hmmm. What about ball oriented foods? Cheese ball? Peanut butter balls? I guess not sausage balls...

And of course, Pizzaria Uno - Four Cheese Deep Dish pizza. Brownie Bowl. Raspberry Iced Tea.

And Pecan Pie. And Sawdust Pie (Cousin of Pecan Pie).

Banana pudding? Y'all make that over there?

Hmmmmm.
