Got my hair cut...

For the first time, Husband expressed actual interest in me keeping the length. The woman who cut my hair however, was dismayed about how fine my hair is. And I was whining about if it was up to me, I would cut it to the shoulder.
Sooooo....
She said, "Let's cut it in long layers. You will feel like you have more hair."
I have always been shy of layers. But I said, Why the heck not?
The surprise (to me) result? It's the perfect length, just like I like it, from the front! And still longish in the back! And it looks great! Although she DID put mousse in it and scrunch it up while it was wet so that it's also all beach girl wavy right now. I don't know if it will do that or not without the mousse. It might. I do have a strong wave in my hair at the right length. Anyway, seems to be a great haircut experience! :-D Hopefully after I wash it I will still like it...
Small Boy got scalped, but it's very well done. I told her it needed to be shorter and to make him look cute. Usually, I cut his hair and give him a very round head. She applied clippers, etc, and he looks much older. And it is VERY short... But good. And it will grow out.
