Got up at 4:20. Made tea for Husband. Did work for Boss. Saw Husband off at 5:20, did aerobics. Hit the shower at about 6:20. Hoped to grab a tiny pre-work nap. 7:15, Small Boy woke up early, so no nappies. More Boss work. 8:25, Small Boy out the door, with all supplies and his uniform, early so I could help him get into the building with his insane amount of supplies. I hit the ground running at the office, but Boss was in Court for a very long time, so I had a bunch of unresolvable issues. Blah. Also, INSANE phoen day. Everybody decided to straighten up and get their affairs in order, not that the school year has started! As many calls about wills today as in the whole month of June, I bet. :) Home to dithering over dinner that resulted in tandoor takeaway. The guys at Minerva love us. They gave us both lassi for free, even though we waited all of about 2.5 minutes! They wish Small Boy liked their food. They are sad he only eats naan. I console them by explaining he eats NOTHING and lives on air, cheese and apples. They feel somewhat better. Came home, ate, Husband made googlie eyes at me and I went out AGAIN, this time for ice cream. But WHOO HOO, Tuesday night is $1 cone night, and my little "damaged" friend helped me. He loves me, too! He gave me a HUGE cone. I saw the cones other people were getting. Dinky, sad cones. Mine was so big, it gave me a tummy ache! Butter pecan.... Mmmmmmm. And of course, brougth back Chocolate Mousse, Razza Dazza Chocolate, and SPF-31. Please note this post is family friendly. You may return to the previous ice cream post if you have any comments you MUST make... :p Now Husband has gone to bed on time. Small Boy is snoozing, and I must hurry off to do dishes and sleep so I can start over at 4:20 tomorrow. I am hoping to make this schedule work. We'll see what we see. Love! CK

*stifles any impolite banter* Had to say, I told Ken about the "Enjoy your damage!" quip your icecreamery friend made, and he loved it!

And that's all I have to say - your post ate my brain, I became instantly exhausted reading it. You are indeed superwoman.

And now I'm off for dinner and Harry Potter and eventual rude snoring.

I got up this morning at 4:30, said, too early! And went back to bed after making tea. I am going to try 4:20 again tomorrow, though, after hopefully going to bed on time this evening. I prefer to get up early, but if circumstances make getting to bed on time unrealistic, I know I can't both stay up late and get up early. 4:20 will have to go...

I have started reading ahead of Small Boy in the most recent Harry Potter. He's just not that interested in it, and it's gotten to be alot about kissing and stuff, so I'm thinking, eh. Maybe he's 7 and this book can wait...

*whistles innocently* Who me?

Yeah, my September is in high gear too. *bleh* It's still hitting 100 degrees here, so busy and hot? Not so much fun.

Yay for making friends with food providers! Besides just being social and fun, benefits! Damaged!boy is my new invisible friend.

Also, 4:20 a.m.? You are insane. I'd rather stay up late watching SG-1. In fact I will. *drool* Am skipping a DVD because some stupid slow person is renting them out one at a time ahead of me. Will go back Friday and pick up the one I missed, and keep going. Eat my dust, stupid slow-watching person! Am I weird today? Might be heat stroke...

Argh!!! 100 degrees STILL! As a woman who knows what 100 degrees means, I have to say that as much as I like the heat, I'd be having serious summer fatigue by now. Summer is my favorite season, and I love the really hot days, but there's nothing like the utter relief of a break in the heat and the joy of autumn. Which we seem to be getting surprisingly early this year, after having had a surprisingly long spring, too. Hmmmmm....

So where are you now in SG-1? *sigh* Again, please note the family-friendly nature of this post... :p

I moved to the desert because I love the heat. It's just that having a day with a lot of running around in the heat makes me a tired girl. Spring and autumn used to last about two weeks each here -- mostly stinkin' hot days to stinkin' cold nights without much transition between. But with global climate change we've been getting longer shoulder seasons. Not fall yet, though...

I watched all five eps on Season 3, disc 2 last night. Will e-mail you comments, so as not to have to censor self. ;-)

LOL! well, 4:20 am to rise does not combine well with 10:20 pm to bed... I got up this morning, said, Wow, this is too early! and went back to bed! :) Gonna try to get to bed earlier tonight and give 4:20 another shot tomorrow, but getting up that early just may not be practical for me...
