So, in Season 4 General Hammond retires. He's saying his private farewells to SG-1 before he leaves the base.

Teal'c: On Chu'lak, when a great warrior retires from the field of battle, it is customary to sing a song of lament.

[Long pause. Gen. Hammond looks expectant. Teal'c has that about-to-smile look that is his version of a huge grin.]

Teal'c: Fortunately, we are not on Chu'lak.
