Backward and mismatched

Today was spirit day at The Small Boy's school.

They were backwards and mismatched today!

The Small Boy wore a red plaid rugby shirt, backwards, under his olive green cardigan-type dino sweater, also backwards. He also wore a shocking red, red pair of sweatpants. Too bad I recently threw away the broken tennis shoes, or he could have worn one tennis shoe, one boot.

So silly! :)

You are so going to have to explain spirit day!! A day when small children are sent to school by their parents deliberately badly dressed!!!! Hmmmm.

No. The kids plan a day to boost school spirit. They plan silly events to raise morale. So the student council or some such group planned the clothes thing. Parents just go along with it for laughs! :) I don't know what other stuff they did, if anything, that day/week.
