Thanks for the kind words over at footballslash, CK. I know we don't talk as much as we used to, but it's nice to know someone has my back!

And that'll teach me to worry about the toes of others. Had I just blithely posted, and said nothing, her cannon might have gotten ruffled but she would have likely not have felt free to be a cock about it. *chuckle*

:) After I posted this, I actually went over and scoped her info page. 1) No-native speaker of English. 2) Very, very hostile and angry info page. The kind of person who might easily miss the subtleties and then get pissed about it. I wonder if you'll ever get a reply to my comment.

She also dropped by YOUR journal and didn't like my above comment to you. She then came to my journal and we hashed things out. See the 'giggle' post. I am not at all contrite for coming to you with my feelings, as your journal is not the public forum that footballslash is, but I do feel bad that it further hurt her feelings.

I think we're on good terms now though, both of us having found our inner adults ;)
