Jan. 31st, 2005 08:44 ambagend1993: Hey!
bagend1993: stupid snow.
bagend1993: Had to clear off the car, and it probably took half an hour total.
bagend1993: *glares at winter*
Delanach: We still have no snow, and the most scary thing is ....
Delanach: I pulled a tick of Stripe last night, and they are never active until the weather warms up enough - usually May time
Delanach: My fear is that if the weather here is evening out, midgies may ecome active earlier too, and that would make living here unbearable
bagend1993: Dude.
bagend1993: Thatis scary!
Delanach: it is.
Delanach: it's hard enough for the cats to live with ticks six months of the year, but January?????
Delanach: I do use the ultimate tick killer for the summer, but would hate to have to use it more as it's an organophosphate
bagend1993: They have drugs for that now, don't they? DO you hvae them over there?
bagend1993: Ah.
Delanach: with them getting older, the chemical is harder for them to put up with
bagend1993: I bet Jules could recommend something...
bagend1993: That's her bailiwick. Cat and dog and horse care.
bagend1993: I'm sure she knows the best products available here.
Delanach: you could ask her, if you don't mind
