Good day to be a snowball in Hell

So, last night, was mentally whining to myself that I was going to have to skip exercise this morning to get some freakin' work done for ODL. The discovery is just kicking my ass and I can't get anything else done.
And I thought...
"If I get it all done, maybe tomorrow I can treat myself to a double workout." [Emphasis added.]
Um. Yeah.
So, all you people who knew me prior to September 5, 2004, please do not adjust your monitor. Hell really did freeze over...
In other annoying diet and exercise news, as of last week all the legal assistant/paralegal types in the office decided they were going to diet together, with me as their inspiration. Cellmate brought in a scale for weigh-in last Monday. From Monday to Tuesday - 3 pounds.
Everyone, of course, has to ask the question how much have I lost? No idea. And the scale didn't help, as the doctor's scale in early August had me at 170 lbs with shoes on, and Cellmate's scale on last Monday had me at 172.5 lbs with shoes off. I have gone down more than a size now, so I doubt that is right. Though I have been exercising and I'm sure adding dense muscle. *shrugs* Don't really care. However, last week was one of my worst diet weeks, though OK for exercising. So if we presume that 3 lbs per week is approximately right, then I am probably up to about 20 lbs lost.
