Juan of the Dead

We watched Juan of the Dead last night. Pretty funny, and definitely better than I expected. Zombie movie with the addition of socialist humor. (And subtitles, so you can feel classy while watching something trashy!) It was made in Cuba and I'm amazed, since it was allegorical as hell. Reviews warned it would be extremely homophobic, and there were winceable moments, but it was more complex than you would think. ( Spoilers )

Anyway, if you are into zombie movies, you'll probably laugh at this one.

Warnings for male genitalia, actually nudity all around, public masturbation, graphic violence, homophobic language.

Darn it, La China had a great quote about a soldier he meets, but I'm not finding it anywhere. Something to the effect of "God made this guy all dick."
