Let me preface this by saying I had two years of high school Spanish.

So. I have taken to listening to this Spanish language party station in the car whenver NPR is too boring, annoying or depressing.

It amuses me how much of the standard radio babble I can follow, but the songs are mostly beyond my language skills.

Except this morning seemed to have a place name theme going. I think in one song the guy was singing, "I'm in California (New York/Puerto Rico/San Juan/etc, etc), but I'm __________________." I never caught what he was, though he must have said it 20 times.

Then, there was The Estupido Song! The guy kept singing in the chorus, "Lo siento estupido!"

AG33 and I were cracking up, though we had no context for this guy's stupid trauma.

The snow has frightened away the Spanish speakers in the office. I'll have to bug them, though, the next time I see them. I need to know what that song was about! :D
