1. The Rice Barbarian was happily toddling around. I followed her into the kitchen. She went over to the table, then gave a sad little whine. Then she kind of sat down on the floor and slumped over, whimpering all the while. I said, "What's the matter, sweet bug?" and was all concerned. She looked back at me pitifully from under the table. AG33 informs me, "She was under there a couple of minutes ago and bumped her head."

She was reinacting it for my benefit, I presume. *snerk*

2. The Rice Barbarian is terribly jealous of AG33. She loves him to death til I give him too much love. Then she's all "Hey! I'm the baby! I get the love!"

3. She bit him again this weekend (not because of jealousy over Mommy sharing). The bite wasn't bad, but according to the info I got from the day care, the correct psychology is to help the bite victim while ignoring the biter. So I lavished attention on him. We talked about how much it hurts when someone bites you (toddlers understand a lot even though they can't say it, so talking about hurting can get through to them). I hugged him several times. She managed to reach in and pet the affected hand, too, and looked contrite. Til the Mommy-doting lasted a little too long. Then she tried to bite him again. *snickers*

4. AG33 has her down cold, though. This morning, she was refusing to put on her coat. He said, "I'll put it on!" And proceeded to get one arm in. Of course, that was it, but she got quite indignant, and stood up and demanded her coat back, and gave me no more trouble about putting it on her.

5. We have taught her to howl like a wolf, in addition to barking like a dog. And we have filled her room with old Brittany calendars. There is this years, plus 5 other ones, plus we are going to put in last year's wolf calendar. When you go to her room in the morning, she will immediately begin talking to you about all the different doggies.

I feel that I am forgetting some. May do another post later, if they come to me.

On New Year's Eve, AG33 and I both took our last dose of Sudafed. We are both hacking and coughing and sneezing, etc. So I zoomed out to The Cursed Safeway for a few grocery items and some cold meds before the pharmacies closed for the holiday.

Well, it being The Cursed Safeway, they had all my grocery items, but when I got to the pharmacy, all they had was a 24-pack of Sudafed tablets, with no children's elixer.

So we trooped over to the CVS. Where they of course had everything. So I got myself a 96-pack of tablets, just to put off jumping through the Sudafed hoops for as long as possible, and also got a bottle of medicine for AG33.

When we got home, I noted that at the bottom of the CVS receipt there was a notice, saying that according to Federal law, the maximum amount of Sudafed that can legally be purchased by one person on one day is x.y grams. I don't have the numbers in front of me. But the point is that it said how much I had purchased as the CVS, and it was about .6 grams less than the maximum.

Well, at Safeway, I purchased 24 30 mg tablets. I'm bad at this stuff, but I'm pretty sure that puts me over the limit.

I hope the Federalies aren't organized enough to find me... *is scared*
