Tiny annoyance

Here's something that bugs me.

People who don't say "okie dokie" or "okie doke", the accepted forms of this expression of agreement and acknowledgement, but rather say "okie do."

I have never been able to figure out why this bugs me so much.

Then today, I realized.

Okie do sort of sounds like it ought to *be* something. Some form of martial art, possibly. Like Aikido's hick cousin, or something.

Ha! Husband succumbed!

We watched the first episode tonight. Appealing cast, excellent first script, and man/man/woman threesome all in the first episode.

Can't be all bad.
