Lime-Cheese Salad

uisgich (who is missing on a Saturday morning when I have had all the time in the world *glares*):
Lime-Cheese Salad
1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
1T mayonaise
1 pkg lime gelatin (3oz)
1 c hot water
1 c minature marshmallows
1 small can (4 oz?) crushed pineapple (drained)
1/2 c chopped pecans
Blend mayonaise and cream cheese. Add jello and water. Stir until jello is dissolved. Add marshmallows. Stir until dissolved. Add pineapple and nuts. Pour into mold, greased with mayonaise. Chill.
Yummy for Thanksgiving. Yummy for Christmas. Yummy for breakfast. Yummy. I love the texture the pecans take on in this dessert.
I leave it to the vegetarians in the audience to solve the gelatin problem, as I am sure there *is* a solution, probably involving a product containing agar...
