Good news, I think I can trick the Husband into renting this movie. Possibly even into purchasing, if he likes it.

Caravaggio (on hold until it actually is available here)
Dark Harbor (another one that I could get him to rent, if I play my cards right)
Velvet Goldmine (?)

And dammit, I am sure there was another one. But I can't find my note to myself...

I need to see Velvet Goldmine, too - mostly to get certian friends offa my back about it, and to continue to convince myself on the non-hotness of John Rhyce-cakes-Myspellhisname wrong. *ducks wrath*

Caribou Ken's reaction to Dark Harbor was thusly: *gives me a quiet, incredulous look* "So, you like this thing, do you?"

But. Boondock Saints is a movie a guy can love, and Ken adores it too! Winner! Winner! Winner! They watch for their reasons, we watch for ours. Though the storyline and premise and the beauty of the surreal way the tale is told IS a joy to behold. And hawt brothers. Umph. If you get a chance, watch it at least twice though - I know I missed so much of the story flow the first time, it's just that kinda movie.

Usually just from Mom. But actually, she usually only comes by if I suggest it. She says my journal "makes her dizzy." She doesn't really know any of the fandoms that interest me, and she doesn't know any of my friends, and she doesn't really care about my day-to-day work issues. Two boys and a girl, apparently v. slashy, opening with, apparently, a highly erotic masturbation scene (both guys together?), and directed by the same guy as did the most recent Harry Potter.

On top of that, it was Ain't It Cool News guy's favorite movie when I was snooping over there for TTT news...

I am so dying to see it.
