Though I suspect she's probably on her way to bed, preparing to be all sensible and responsible tomorrow, I would like to send her a good night present. Just the right size for an avatar/icon - 100x100 pixels.

You're so welcome!

Viggo and me, not so much.

But Strider, in all his unwashed glory (oooh! and all velvety, too! and nightshirt! but could do without the tacky crown...). Anyway, there's a man for you! ;)

It's past my bedtime. Been up watching Sharpe again. Prolly finish tomorrow night.

I have this sick urge to get them all, despite the fact that I've seen them all and just *know* how nose-wrinklingly bad some of them are. Maybe Sword? Heh. Maybe I'll start taking them out from the library again so that I can decide which ones I really need to *own.* And are we again getting into "any excuse" territory?

I wonder, if I bug him all year, if I could get A Woman's Guide past The Husband next Christmas?

Do you happen to know if Stormy Monday is worth the torture of Melanie Griffith?

I agree about Viggo. Seems like a nice guy, but only really does it for me as Aragorn, or perhaps David Shaw, or perhaps the Blouseman, or perhaps the guy from American Yakuza what was my point again?

I got the full set of Sharpe back in August after being paid for a database (I would happily take my wages in DVDs!) and watched them all while SM was away for a week in September. Weird, actually, as I was still reading the books, which really highlighted the differences between book stories and TV stories.

Stormy Monday is so worth the torture!! V. young SB, with ear-ring, nekkid bum shots, half nekkid bruised shots, half nekkid in the bath shots ... you get the picture ;)

Also, shot in and around my home town of Newcastle which leads onto my almost getting to see SB even though I didn't know who he was at the time annecdote ...

The restaurant that MG's character works in was one of my regular haunts way back then with a couple of mates, cos the food was cheap, and there was a small disco downstairs that would play rock music for us to dance to if it was a quiet night. It was called the Italian Job in reality. As we were regulars, we were asked if we wanted to be extras in a movie that was being shot. Just so happened that we were away on holiday that week, so that's how I missed what was probably my one chance of being in the same room as SB!

That's so funny!

Sigh. Now I need to see Stormy Monday. That will be a real trick. Husband hates MG more than I do, and half-nekkid Sean Bean is not going to be a winning argument with him! ;) For that matter, I'm not 100% sure it's rentable around here.

Will investigate.

Point was you are reading too many of my gratuitious posts about half-naked men and have again begun slipping into a hormone-induced haze, at the ungodly hour of 6:30am! [CK smiles sweetly and goes off to start her work day]

I didn't think it was possible to read too many half-naked men posts! Especially at 6.30am:) Anyway, it's now almost 3pm, I've been up since 5am think I've said that already, somewhere, had two home made white chocolate mochas and all it has done is increase my heart rate by 200%. I don't actually feel any more awake!

Desperately need to get current angsty smut story posted, as it is stopping me concentrating on the Lit Idol entry that has to be done by the end of the month.

Angsty smut actually has a story line this time, which has been driving me mad. Now stands at 13 pages, and was originally going to be an angsty 100 word drabble! Going to finish it off tonight (although I've been saying that for 4 days now).

Also busy plotting today's work distraction ;)

Have, shockingly, had a drabbly angsty thingy rolling around my head for a couple of weeks - yes, angst inspired by your cooking fics. But maybe if I write it down it will get longer.

Write it down, write it down!

Ooh! Inspired by cooking fics - food angst, perhaps :)

Been out today, and catching up on fic comments tonight before posting my angsty thing, but will catch up with you over the weekend. Love :)
