She was so embarrassed the one time I jokingly pointed it out to her, that I have stopped correcting her.
I have always said I'll answer to whatever you want to call me, as long as it isn't profane, or KKK.
LOL! As I was typing that, she poked her head around the corner from the kitchen and sheepishly asked, "Did you know I call you [Cellmate's name]?" (Direct quote. She's from Philippines, with a heavy accent.) I laughed and admitted that yes, I did notice. But (see above), I'd answer to anything, and The Cellmate's name was fine. She laughed and said, "Sorry. I'm getting old."
In an unrelated question, have I been redacting The Cellmate's name in previous posts? Can't remember.
