Iron Banner Antics

I'm headed to level 2 in the Iron Banner. My skills as a Titan are greatly improving. I had a 2.0 K/D ratio last night in one match, which for me is AMAZING. Just before my last match of the evening, I realized that I had not been getting the hero shot just before each match and I grabbed one. This is before a match in Rusted Lands. I'm the person all the way on the right behind the Bravo identifier. The person two over from me, to the right of the Titan with the flag is a Warlock, wearing my pre-raid armor. I like ALL THE ARMOR better than the Crota armor, really. *sigh* The two guys all the way on the left are Hunters.
The Titan holding the banner is an old pro. She's already got the Iron Banner sash. It doesn't show very clearly in this photo, but it's on her right flank, away from the viewer. Look down around her knee and you will see the wolf head peeking out. Also, she's got a shader, though you can pick up the cheap one after only level one. It's hard for me to tell the Million Million shader, the easy one to get, from the Gold Spiral (which I am wearing) which is the one you can't get until you have maxed the levels. That was the one I worked so hard to get last time. They are both sliver and gold. The Warlock's got her Gold Spiral on, I'm pretty sure. Her left arm is turned away, so you can't see her Iron Banner bond, one of my favorites. I'm wearing a really awesome Titan sash, but you can't see it at all here, so no fashion lady commentary from me on that. :D

Interestingly (or not, actually, as I reread, but anyway, interestingly TO ME!), last Iron Banner, I almost always was the person holding the banner. In this round, I have not held the banner yet. This makes me wonder whether that selection is random or determined by performance? It is not determined by the "fireteam leader" because that is determined by your rank in "grimoire cards" and I can tell you, we play this game like the old Ratchet and Clank fans that we are, and Husband is nothing if not a completionist. I have almost NEVER met anyone with a higher score in this than we have, and I am ALWAYS the fireteam leader.
In the good news category, every match win gets you a little cash. Looks like I am going to earn enough just in tournament play that I should be set at the end to buy the three items I want to buy.
