So. I decided I should let Pinterest know that they lost a potential user due to their FaceBook/Twitter policy. After all, if nobody complains, nothing is likely to change, is it.
So on their contact us page, I was leaving a nasty gram, and I decided to click all their help questions related to FaceBook and personal information. And I decided to change my mind. It looked like I could COMPLETELY unlink from FaceBook, and I figured, if I was not satisficed by the unlinking, I could just delete the Pinterest account immediately.
So I suck it up, click to login through FaceBook - and I discovered that FaceBook was going to convert my account to TimeLine because I was joining Pinterest.
Poor Pinterest, you can't win for losing, can you?
SO, I went back to Pinterest to put my old complaint about privacy and anonymity PLUS my complaint about how FaceBook was going to screw with me if I got over myself and just joined Pinterest anyway.
And when I clicked SEND - the button was dead.
*sigh*
Pinterest. Another example of how you get what you pay for. Nothing for nothing.
