Judge orders you to answer discovery. No atty fees awarded, no penalty to you, just an extended deadline. Instead of just answering discovery, you research how to do a motion to vacate the order. No wonder she's divorcing you.

Well, amusingly, after he did a decent job for a pro se guy on his motion, he totally failed to docket it, so it will probably never go before a judge and basically is a waste of a tree. Boss did an opposition so it would be in teh file if the guy ever realizes that he needs to actually, you know, put the motion in front of a judge. *rolls eyes*

It's funny, though, how in some divorces you can definitely see a lot of the reasons the couple couldn't stay together just from the behavior of the parties during litigation.

God, I'll bet! You have to imagine how well they hid their awful traits to be able to get married to begin with. There are always those situations where the older and wiser folks are saying, "It's not going to last. but I can't tell her that now, she's 'in love.'"
