Snow again last night. Where I grew up, in North Carolina, snow was a rare treat - once a winter, maybe. I have been living most of my adult life in places where it snows a fair amount in the winter, but I still get a funny little thrill when I open the curtain in the morning to unexpected snow.
Ah, and got my husband to do the C to F converstion and I think the temperature in Scotland in the winter isn't actually too different from normal Michigan temps - highs just below 20 degrees. The really cold stuff isn't that common. And, apparently -30F is about the same as -35C, in case you were wondering. Though the thought occurs that I could have just gone and found a converter somewhere on the Internet. Eh.
