A day in the life

muck_a_luckMy children are rolling around the office in a swivel chair.
The Barbarian begged to come to work today. She was supposed to go to day care for lunch and the afternoon, but she dissolved in tears when it was time to go, and Cellmate, and *especially* Cellmate's Boss, were insistant that she should be allowed to stay. (Cellmate, a good mother, actually only mimed to me so that The Barbarian couldn't see.)
Miss Barbarian has spent the day charming the socks off everyone. She was practically Cellmate's shadow, following her around, and petting her dog. But she has been friendly and outgoing with everyone, and pretty well behaved. I do have to periodically remind her to keep her voice down, and I think she has been slamming office doors sometimes, but otherwise, she's been great!
And of course, it would not have been possible without AG33, who has been the best big brother ever and has been getting compliments from the adults all day for how he plays with his sister.
They also built me an awesome boat from cardboard.
