Flu clinic
Nov. 21st, 2009 05:06 pmBack from flu clinic. They were running a tight ship there. You could tell they were READY to vaccinate 12,000 people in 8 hours. It was moving so fast *I* actually held us up by filling out the forms too slowly. And for the second time this fall, I learned that if you want a vaccine, you should just show up at the flu clinic and see what happens. I was up front with everybody there that I wasn't expecting a vaccine and I wasn't in any of the groups and they gave me a form then stamped it OK and in I went and got the nasal mist. So. Me and the kids are now H1N1 vaccinated. Still haven't been able to get the seasonal one for the kids yet, but I was much more concerned about H1N1, so yay! Nasal mist was much less unpleasant that I expected, but it has given me a runny nose and sore throat. Hoping that will go away by tomorrow.
