For my birthday

I have decided that for my birthday I'm giving myself the last 20 pounds.
I decided this on Sunday evening, but have not posted til today because I wanted to be sure I wasn't just having a hormonally manic moment.
I clearly need an inspiration to adhere to a strict diet. I seem to be able to maintain weightloss OK, but I'm not going to lose anymore til I really work for it.
I'm sitting right around 150 now, plus or minus. My old goal was 140, which is soft of in the middle of my health weight range of 132-145 (I'm 5'6"). Husband pointed out that if I shoot for the low end of my range, it gives me more flexibility for fluctuation without leaving my healthy range. I see this as a good argument.
So, my new goal is to be 135 on the day I turn 39.
Am back to trying to incorporate more cardio in my exercise. Have hit my caloric targets all week, and today is looking good. Assuming I have the same success I had during Lent, going from 150 to 135 by mid-December is quite doable, if I can be fairly disciplined during the holiday food season, and only splurge on Thanksgiving, and maybe Halloween.
BTW, I have not weighed 135 since high school. And that might well put me in a size 8, which I have not worn since, jeez, probably elementary school. That will be weird. Neat, but weird.
