muck_a_luckWow! An anonymous benefactor has gifted me with paid account time for this journal! I have a theory about whom said anonymous benefactor might be, but whoever you are, thank you so much!
So I have imported my RL journal over, and will be spending some time over the next few weeks getting all the filters synched up and whatnot, and I'm going to try to commit to Dreamwidth for real now.
Yes, a new relationship. I have only been occassionally visiting my reading page, but now I'm going to make it a daily event. I will also be crossposting from here to LJ, and only tidying up at LJ and answering comments there. Unless certain people leave LJ who never will, I will never back out of that community entirely, but I think I will be trying to make this my true home. The question will be what to do in November, when the LJ paid account runs out. I am delighted to have a paid account for Brain, too, so I might pay 6 additional months on each DW account, or something like that, and put off the decision about further paid time for Brain for a good while.
Argh. I guess I'll have to start thinking about how to pretty this place up, now. Well, another day. Now to go WHINE IN CROSSPOSTING for the first time!

it's been working great for me. and having comments both places is no biggie, I find, but you can also direct all comments to DW if you have public posts and allow anonymous comments. Then people don't have to go to any bother to comment on DW. Or if you Lock the DW journals, they have to have an Open ID to which you grant access.
But you probably know all this already.
