Evil in great and petty forms
May. 13th, 2009 11:22 amOne of the things I love about the scriptwriting for this show is that they like to show the devil in his day-to-day activities. Usually they cleverly capture little vignettes of petty evil.
For instance, last night, we see the devil as a salesman in a jewelry store, showing a happy couple a beautiful diamond engagement ring. He's going on and on about it's qualities. Then he says, "But it is a little expensive for what it is. After all, who besides an expert will ever know it's a real diamond?"
*snortle*
The man looks intrigued, the woman looks horrified, and the devil suggests they might also want to look at he cubic zirconium in the next case.
*snortle more*
Ah. I love this show. Sadly, it appears to be headed for cancellation. I'll definitely miss it.
