30 Day Shred, Level 1.
As this disc has been a topic in the community where I share, I will say that I did Level 1 on Tuesday around noon. Was pretty old-lady-ified on Wednesday by noon. Still limping and hurting on the stairs on Thursday. Only a little stiff this morning, so I decided to push myself instead of wimping out.
This was second day of Level 1, plus I did most of Level 2 last week. Already, I can feel the cardio portion getting much easier, and I suspect the lunges will start to hurt less as my body adapts.
Heads up for htose considering this and wondering, there is a LOT of lunging and squatting, moves that have always hit hard for me and I think one of the reasons at least getting started on this routine is so tough.
Used 5-pound handweights, and used 60 degree pushups for about half of the pushups (I'd rather use 45 degree, but the transitions are fast and the only thing nearby sturdy enough si the kitchen counter). But did the other half on the floor, so, still progressing toward the goal of 50 real pushups.
